Progetto Fondazione Don Gnocchi
The Don Gnocchi Project is above all an educational, integration and fun time.
The protagonists of this project are over fifty users of the Disabled Day Centers (CDD) and the Disabled Health Residence (RSD) of the “S. Maria Nascente ”in Milan and the“ Multiservizi ”Center in Legnano (Mi).
The Project was born with an Open Day that allowed a fencing test for the aforementioned users and which took place in the external area of the Milanese structure, located in via Capecelatro.
This activity was promoted by the educational management and by Antonio Spinelli, referent for sports activities for users of CDD and RSD, in concert with the Milan Fencing Academy, chaired by Lorenzo Radice who, with great enthusiasm, made this original his own and innovative project.
The users of the Day Centers meet Lorenzo Radice with weekly rotations, at the Don Gnocchi Foundation facilities in via Capecelatro.
The Fencing course in addition to stimulating users to correctly manage their impulses and emotions, helps them to learn to make decisions and to govern themselves, always having fun with a smile on their lips.
